Chesterfield 10k

On Sunday 17th May 2026,four of our club runners took on the Redbrik Foundation Chesterfield 10k, joining more than a thousand participants on a truly glorious, sunny morning.

The route, starting and finishing in Queen’s Park, showcased the very best of Chesterfield. Runners were taken through the town centre, out towards Brampton and Ashgate along Chatsworth Road, and past some of the area’s most iconic sights including the town’s famous Crooked Spire.

The event once again proudly partnered with the Redbrik Foundation, alongside charity partners Ashgate Hospice, Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice and Cavendish Cancer Care. Thanks to the incredible generosity of participants and supporters over the years, the event has raised an impressive £250,000–£270,000 to date, with typical annual totals ranging between £30,000–£50,000.

A brilliant day, a brilliant cause, and brilliant running from our club members. Well done to all who took part and supported.
