Summary of MAC parkrun antics over the festive weekend:
Christmas Eve
In comparison to last week, with a temperature of circa 3 degrees it was positively warm at Shipley Country parkrun this morning where 247 hardy souls turned out for part one of this special parkrun weekend!

The MAC parkrun group covered 6 courses across the county and beyond this morning with Roy Austin, claiming the tourist award by going to Bramshall Road in Staffordshire to claim his prime 29 event number in 25.43 and 25th position. Kate Ruffell was in East Cheshire at Lyme Park, possibly the hilliest parkrun around taking 41st position in a great time on that course of 26.42. Not so far from her was Luke Beresford at Buxton Pavilion Gardens where he positively ambled around in 28.32 for 129th place. Closer to home Jon Tyson made it all the way to Poolsbrook for a steady jog of 24.20 and 49th place.
