On Saturday 26 November it was another Jones/Fairey get together, this time at match 2 of the Derbyshire mini league cross country series at Rutland sports centre in Ilkeston.
In the U11 boys race of 1.5km Oliver and Heath finished within a second of each other with Heath in 12th and Oliver 13th. Both boys had a strong final 500m overtaking other runners.
Logan, in his first race back after injury, ran next in the U13 boys race of 3km and led from the beginning, extending his lead each lap to finish in 1st place.
Jacob finished the line up, in his first season in the U15 age group. His race was 4km, he ran well against a strong field of boys, many a few feet taller!
