Holymoorside 10k Report:
On Sunday, 18th May, two MACs participated in this event Sally Owen and Colin Davenport were present, ready for the hill at the start. The Holymoorside 10k and Fun Run are organised by the 1st Holymoorside Scout Group as part of their fundraising activities.
The 10k race passes through scenic Derbyshire countryside, along quiet country lanes. Starting at the Village Hall, the course runs uphill for 4km and then winds across the moor before descending back into the village with a fast, downhill finish. The race is run mainly on the road with a lap of the village playing fields at the finish

Sally Owen – 57:29 – 159th
1st Male to finishing line was Thomas Shaw 35:32
1st Female Hannah Walker-Howard 40:10 – Dronfield RC
There were 236 Runners all together great friendly atmosphere as always.
