Peak Rail 7 Marsaling Information and Course Set Up

2 years 2 months ago #3718 by JamesT
In total contrast to last year the weather looks spot on for Monday. The gates open up at 7.30am, please try and attend the marshals meeting in the station cafe at 8.15am. We've negotiated a special price for a breakfast cob of either bacon, sausage or egg plus a tea or coffee but we need to keep a track on costs so you will need a token to be able to get the food. They will be with one of the timing team, probably Daniel Ashcroft or Jack Cummins. We'll probably be using the BDL discs so please don't lose it .Rather than sharing lots of phone numbers can you please check if you have one of these contacts in your phone as you will need to ring the lead marshal, depending on where you are stationed, in the event of an emergency. If you haven't got the numbers please ask on Monday at the marshaling briefStart/finish area - JT
Church Road/Old Road/ChurchRoad - Andy Mellor
Arc crossing/Matlock/Arc crossing - Simon Flitter Also we need to get the course marked out and the start/finish area set up, and we are going to get that done on Sunday evening starting at 5.00pm. So far it's only me and the Chairman in the work crew so please come and give us some assistance if you are free for an hour. Pint in the Church Inn after? Thanks everybody who's offered to help. JT
