Saturday saw a Trio of Mac’s head North to the Village of Dufton in the Vale of Eden to take part In the Innov8 High Cup Nick Fell Race, 9.2 miles and 1700ft elevation, A race which has it all, Mud, Stream Crossings, Boulder field. Steep scramble up High Cup Nick then a great runnable downhill back to the Village.
First back for Mac was Simon Hoggart in 74th place followed by John Thorpe in 83rd and the ever improving with Age Geoff Cooper in 127th in a course Pb, there was 399 runners!
