About the Junior Grand Prix

If you take part in any race which is in the Grand Prix, don't forget to let the Grand Prix Organisers know of your involvement along with any other MAC members who may have been there too.

If we don't have this information, you could be missing out on points. Not all race results are readily available, so your help in providing us with this information would be appreciated.

There are ten races in the series - runners should compete (the best five will count if they run more).

Runners will compete in the U12, U16 or 16+ categories based on their age on 1 June 2024

Please do not assume that someone else will send off this information, all runners are responsible for reporting their results to the Grand Prix Organisers by emailing [email protected]

2024 / 25 Grand Prix events

15 April 24 - Club XC, 6pm at the Three Staggs, Darley Dale {Results}
12 May 24 - Horsley 4 mile race and fun run (12 and over to do 4 mile, under 12s to do the fun run) {Results 4 mile and Short route}
24 June 24 - Tideswell Inter Inns 5k 7pm at the Star Inn, Tideswell
30 June 24 - Bakewell Pudding Race (fun run course - 2.6 miles) 11am at Bakewell Recreation Ground
29 July 24 - Bonsall Carnival Race (12 and over do long course, under 12s do the short course) 7pm at the Barley Mow, Bonsall
14 September 24 - Monsal Trail parkrun, 9am start at Hassop Station
5 October 24 - No Walk in the Park 1500m race/ fun run for all ages (08:30 start at Queen's Park, Chesterfield)
9 November 24 - Whitworth Thread (register on the morning before 08:50 ready for the start at 09:00)
26 December 24 - Beetroot Race (10:30 at High Peak Junction)
Date TBC - Club Cross Country
