LANZAROTE Marathon 6-7th/12/2024.
Lanzarote, also commonly known as the Island of Volcanoes.
Races including (42km), 21km,10km 5km & wheelchair races.
A 2-day event, located in the lovely and tranquil resort of Costa Teguise.
The events started on Friday 6th, with races for the youngsters; and a very popular 5km Santa’s race.
The main races began early on Saturday 7th.
I ran the 10km race and we were all transferred to the start in some very nice posh coaches.
The scenic views followed the coastline to the finish.
Running conditions were pleasant but breezy.
