17 MACS completed 11 different parkrun venues this morning covering the length and breadth of the UK.

Tourist award goes to Gavin Elliott at Hay Lodge parkrun , Peebles, Scotland with a 22.17, 11th place.

At the other end of the UK Dan Ashcroft completed Bognor Regis parkrun in an even swifter 21.13 for 15th place.

The last of the real tourists were Dennis Holmes and Jay Bird who were at Pontefract racecourse parkrun to get the all important 5 x Nelson 555 and finish in 24.40 and 26.41 for 85th and 133th.

Roy Austin revisited Beacon Hill parkrun to get his course PB of 24.39, 47th place whilst Chris Rouse ran 24.57, 97th at Rother Valley.

Luke Beresford having made the schoolboy error of turning up last week at a cancelled Wollaton parkrun, returned this week to finish in 4th place in 17.28. Lisa Walton also visited Nottinghamshire at Sherwood Pines where she ran 32.21 for 235th.

Back in Derbyshire at Shipley Country parkrun Andrew Watson finished in 24.42, 25th position whilst Sally Owen finished in 26.46 for 41st overall, 6th lady and 1st LV50.

Finally at our local Monsal Trail parkrun our quintet of parkrunners was led home by Ian Watson in a cracking 18.26 for 5th place with Robert Scriven in 21.45 for 24th, Greg Hopkinson 21.49, 25th, Dave Curtis 22.33, 34th and Sarah Witham 23.45, 51st.

Worth noting that Greg was probably taking it easy to avoid any injury ahead of his wedding just a few hours later – congratulations to Greg and Megan 💙
