Thanks to Dennis Holmes for our roundup of parkrun activities from this weekend:
Starting at Monsal Trail parkrun where performance of the week was Ronnie Woods 21.05 PB and 80% age grading score which means that he is already a better runner than his dad, who was 1 second and 1 place behind him, will ever be!
The other MAC runners at Monsal which was a junior GP event were, Chris Jordan, 20.48 (29), Christine Howard, 21.45 (42/2nd lady), Stephen Addleton, 22.02 (47), Ayako Y-N, 23.07 (63) and Megan Elliott, 24.24 (85). Apologies to juniors I may have missed!
Moving on to other parkruns, I am not sure who is/are tourists of the week as Sarah and Rob were at Conwy where Sarah ran 22.54 for 31st and 5th lady whilst Rob taking it steady due to a fun run on Sunday strolled around in 25.05 for 58th.
The other tourist competitor was Nick Gant at Keswick running 21.39 for 34th place, whilst Dennis and Jay were running at Dallas! Albeit the one South of Coventry not the one in Texas.
Not touristing, Roy was at Poolsbrook running 23.14 for 34th, Chris Rouse followed in 26.24 for 76th whilst the ever improving Sarah Walton finished in 34.11, 186th place.
Running solo, Gavin Elliot ended up at Bramshall Road via Ashbourne and achieved a 24.23 26th place finish despite missing the start.
Also a soloist MAC at Brierley Forest Lisa Walton had a steady run around in 33.20 (167th), and finally yet another solo runner was Luke Beresford at Shipley Country parkrun returning from his foreign international success in Slovenia, completing the course in 18.39 for a second place finish.
