Captain Greg Hopkinson reports:
National XC Champs – 6 MACs headed over to Bolesworth Castle last Saturday for the National Cross Country Championships.
Lottie Riddle was our sole representative in the senior female race and came in a very respectable 289th place out of a field of 774 runners.
Myself, Jose, Luke Beresford (most likely with shoes on during the race), Dan Haworth and Matt Jackson took part in the senior mens race. In a field of 1472 runners we all managed to make it round well in the top half which I think is a great result.
A really fun event – hoping to get a bigger MAC team there next year.
