parkrun News Saturday 14 September
This weekend saw a new record set for the most MAC parkrunners out on a single Saturday, with 37 runners and volunteers at 9 venues.
Monsal Trail had 28 runners plus 1 volunteer MAC, and better still 13 of those runners were MAC juniors, 7 of whom were First time parkrunners. The 15 seniors were led home by Harry Holmes and Darren Spibey in 2nd and 4th places with Damon Harrison not far behind in 7th place. The thirteen juniors ran some amazing times led in by Pasco Reynolds in 12th place in a super quick time of 20.32 beating most of the seniors. All juniors across all age groups put in great performances and were a brilliant advertisement for Matlock Athletic Club. See the table below for all of the super results. Thanks to those MAC seniors who acted as “responsible adults” to accompany those juniors who were too speedy for parents.
