Dennis Holmes reports
After last weeks huge turn out of 30 plus runners we are back to more usual numbers with 19 runners and walkers at about a dozen venues,
Top performance for the men must be Ian Watsons 18.26 for 4th place at Monsal Trail parkrun whilst over at Black Rocks Christine Howard was top MAC lady with her 22.36 earning her 2nd lady and the club leading age grading of 78.02% this week.
Lisa Waltons daytrip to Cork almost paid off with a tourist award but she will be well pleased with her time of 28.11 which is only seconds off her all time PB.
Taking this weeks tourist award with a trip to Haga Parkrun in Sweden are Jo Lloyd and Rachael Ayre who have added yet another new event to the ever expanding MAC parkrun event listings.
Kalle and Cherry Moger had a little trip around Mansfield parkrun on Saturday morning with Cherry no doubt saving herself fotr the slightly more challenging terrain of Berry Hill park in the afternoon and the National Cross Country Relays.
Sarah Witham as always recorded a swift time and a top finish this week at The Cinder Track parkrun somewhere in the locality of Whitby where alcoholic celebrations were later carried out no doubt.
If I have missed you or maligned you please let me know. Well run everyone. Please send in your parkrun photos too!
