32 participants at 15 venues makes for a bumper parkrunday. Just choosing a few highlights, Emily Jones still a JW10 ran a magnificent 23.40 at Black Rocks to gain a 74.15% age grading, fractionally higher than Ian Watson’s 74.10% earned from his 19.26 and 6th place finish.
Much further afield at Hartlepool parkrun, Andrew Donoher ran a great time of 20.20 for 18th place whilst Jill Neville also had a good run finishing in 24.07 for 5th lady and 54th overall.
At the alternative MAC local parkrun Monsal Trail, veteran MAC Simon Croft showed a turn of pace with a 22.56 and 43rd place plus a 71.80% age grading. Heidi Eyers a JW10 as Emily Jones, ran a fantastic time of 23.29 for 49th place and the superb age grading of 74.73%. Vicki Eyers, Jon Tyson and Tom Palfreyman all had good runs and recorded 23-24 minutes.
Over at Poolsbrook, Paul Clark ran one of his consistently quick times finishing in 21.53 for 29th place whilst the new name of JM15-17 athlete Robert Davenport recorded an impressive 22.52 for 40th position.
Kate Ruffell made a return to parkrun at Sandringham parkrun where she volunteered as tailwalker and hopefully enjoyed the 1 hour 23 walk possibly quadrupling her average run time.
It’s also good to see Greg Hopkinson returning to parkrun at The Cinder Track where he ran an impressive 17.19 for first finisher and this weeks chart topping age grading of 75.07%.
Penultimately, Dennis Holmes travelled to Uckfield parkrun in Sussex to complete his 9th alphabet which now makes him the 11th craziest parkrun alphabeteer on the planet. The “run” itself was a complete mud bath with only 39 participants which puts Dennis’s 12th place finish into perspective.
And finally, Misha and Gav had an awayday at Woodlands parkrun, Scarborough. Misha ran a great time of 23.18 for 25th place whilst Gav cruised around in 26.07 for 52nd position.
