18 members ran or volunteered at 10 venues yesterday with a healthy proportion in the all important volunteer category. Well done and thank you!
A new Junior member Misha Kalashnyk showed Gav Elliott a clean pair of heels at Ashbourne finishing in 14th position in a great time of 24.05.
Black Rocks was the venue of choice with no fewer than 8 members running or volunteering or both led in by Andrew Watson, followed by Simon Flitter and David Howarth. Lisa Walton brought home the team finishing in yet another course PB of 28.35.
At Brook Leys parkrun in Cambridge, Catherine Howard ran the performance of the day with a 22.13 time earning her a magnificent 80.42% age grading!!
Oscar Szabo ran another great time of 19.13 at Cardiff earning him a 55th place finish at this top parkrun event.
Sarah Witham celebrated another great run up at Keswick with a fantastic 22.32 and 72.63% age grading. Other celebrations might have taken place too.
Also up in the North West, Cherry Moger had a great run at Lancaster parkrun finishing 2nd female in a time of 25.46.
Super tourist award of the week with a carbon busting trip to Orchard Community parkrun in Ontario, Canada was taken by Dennis Holmes, who finished 6th (out of 28) in a respectable 24.36.
Last but not least, Roy and Sarah Austin were staying local at Poolsbrook finishing in times of 28..06 and 31.12 respectively.
