Storm Amy put paid to over 200 UK parkruns including our 2 local ones so no surprise that numbers were well down on usual this weekend. A few hardcore runners still got out on Saturday morning whilst others rested up for Sundays first cross country.
Dan Haworth made a rare parkrun appearance at Hillsborough where 16.21 earned him a second place and an 80.63% age grading.
Christine Howard put in a fine performance for the ladies with a 22.66 at Rother Valley which earned her the First Lady finisher position and a 78.60% age grading.
Lisa Walton running in her new Vet 50-54 category chose a trip to Dolgellau to celebrate and also took the chance to recce some of the Welsh hills soon to host the National Fell Champs.
Tourist award predictably goes to Dennis Holmes who chose Kuchenholz parkrun near Leipzig for his Saturday run out having completed Ziegelwiese on Fridays German extra day.
