Parkrun news Saturday 9th November 2024
Only 16 participants on Saturday probably due to it being a cross country double header this weekend so some runners were saving their legs. Top performers were Laura Bassett with the 3rd lady and 16th overall at Mansfield parkrun in a great time of 22.28. Ann Armistead was top of the age grading charts with a fantastic 71.82 % at Monsal Trail whilst David Howarth also had a great run at Gladstone parkrun where a 24.14 finish earned 66th place and 69.19% age grading.
3 MAC ‘s volunteered and the tourist award was well won by Dennis Holmes who made the trip to Krakow, Poland to bag his 4th Z at Zielony Jar.
