18 runners at 12 venues is a little bit of a quiet parkrun week but the Belper River relays in the afternoon may have claimed families Jones and Flitter contingents.
Misha had a cracking run at Ashbourne with a super 22.46 for 25th place whilst Gav ran a steady 26.24.
All of our quartet of runners at Black Rocks recorded great times with Ian Watson leading them home in a super 19.51 for 5th position.
Lisa Walton made the short journey to Brackenhurst Campus and maybe saved a bit for her relay run at Belper whilst Roy and Sarah also saved their legs with steady runs at Brierley Forest. It was also Sarah’s 300th parkrun so congratulations on this unofficial but still great milestone!
Carl Vincent made a visit to Dover Waterfront and ran a fine time of 21.27 for 28th place.
Monsal Trail regulars Andy Mellor and Paul Clark both recorded impressive times this weekend, Andy finishing in 20.31 for 13th spot and Paul 21.41 for 24th.
MAC Junior Isabella Wilson added Penistone parkrun to her ever expanding list of venues and ran a super time of 27.34 for a 116th place finish at this out and back trail course.
Jonathan Howkins claims this weeks tourist award with a trip to Penryn parkrun in Cornwall where he ran an excellent 23.36 for 45th position.
Malcolm Betts ran his regular Rother Valley in a consistent 25.32 for 88th place.
New MAC member Martin Sower ran a second consecutive inaugural with his visit to Vale Park in Stoke achieving a steady 33.18 probably saving himself for the afternoon relay.
And finally, Dennis Holmes made the relatively short journey to Worcester parkrun, where he completed the lovely 2 lap woodland course in a time of 25.02 for 81st place out of almost 500 runners.
