Some fantastic parkrun tourism going on this weekend with MAC members in Germany, The Netherlands and Italy. Jon Tyson takes the tourism award with his trip to Terme parkrun in the beautiful region of Tuscany, Italy not far from Florence. Rob and Beccy add a new location to our MAC parkrun list with their trip to Dietenbach parkrun near Freiburg. Dennis Holmes ran the relatively new Oade Warande parkrun near Eindhoven in the Netherlands.
Jo Lloyd also left the UK mainland with the relatively short hop over to the lovely island of Jersey.
Much closer to home at Alvaston parkrun we had the speedy trio of Tom Palfreyman running the quickest time of the week and his new PB 19.56 whilst Ian Pitkin ran the remarkable time of 20.48! Chris Gillott’s 21.14 shows he is no slouch too. Well run chaps.
Christine Howard completed Watermead Country park in a time of 21.47 for 49th place and another great age grading score of 82.02%
