At the local Monsal trail parkrun a rare 5k outing by Jim Thorneycroft saw an excellent time of 23.57 for 36th place and a 72.03% age grading. Andy Mellor did a fine job run directing as always.

Just up the A6 at Pavilion Gardens, Laura Bassett ran a fine time of 24.07 followed in 1 second later by Dave Bowden.

Paul Clark had another excellent time at his goto parkrun, Poolsbrook, finishing in 21.07 for 14th place whilst Jon Tyson was close by at Rother Valley Country park where he turned in a real performance of 23.46 for 59th position.

Finally, Christine Howard returned to the hilly Shipley Country park and took the first female finisher place in a time of 24.34 finishing in 14th position overall. Family Flitter were over at Shipley Country park where the 3 boys all made their debut runs. Stanley completing the course in 25.55 with brother Finley not far behind in 26.40 obviously waiting for dad Simon just a further second and place behind.

Well run everyone.
