Parkrun News 13 December 2025
Only 16 runners spread across 10 venues this week. Misha Kalashnyk ran a PB of 23.12 at Ashbourne for 10th pkace leaving Gav Elliott behind who finished in 26.55 for 29th.
6 MAC’s ran at Black Rocks led in by David Bowden in a speedy 20.25 for 6th place. Andrew Watson followed in 13th in a time of 21.53 whilst Laura Bassett claimed first lady finisher in a time of 22.28. Kate Brett was next MAC in a time of 28.10 finishing 84th. Debutants Fraser and David Robertson both made great starts to their Black Rocks parkrun careers finishing together in 28.31. Well done boys!
Roy Austin had a steady tootle around Brierley Forest whilst Dennis Holmes had a run to forget at East Holmes Field parkrun in Ilkley where 4 laps of a field were not to his liking.
Jo Lloyd made the relatively short trip to Endcliffe parkrun, Sheffield where she finished 407th (this is a very big event) in 30.59.
Paul Clark was sole MAC at Monsal running another great time of 21.00 for 11th place.
Further North at Roberts Park Sarah Witham ran 22.40 for a 3rd lady finisher and 57th overall.
Fastest MAC of the week was Josh Willis at Shipley Country finishing in 4th place in 19.56.
Last but not least, Lisa Walton made the short trip to the scenic and very quick Walsall Arboretum course where she was able to run her first sub 28 minute time of the year finishing in 27.36, only 10 seconds outside her all time PB.
