A quiet Saturday for MAC parkrunners with 12 runners plus volunteers at 7 different parkruns.
Gav Elliot takes the tourist trophy with a visit to Strathclyde and a pretty rapid 22.11 for 55th place.
Luke Beresford, Jay Bird and Dennis Holmes travelled the relatively short 90 miles to Fountains Abbey parkrun near Ripon, where at least the compensation was one of the most scenic courses on offer. Luke was 3rd(17.37), Jay 94th (24.46), Dennis 137th (26.13).
Mini tourist Lisa Walton made the journey to Yarborough leisure centre parkrun near Lincoln to get her 17 Wilson Index number but also recorded a good time of 30.00, 105th place.
Another MAC solo lady mini tourist Sarah Witham visited Colwick park parkrun to complete her 99th parkrun and ran a super 22.32 for 40th and 6th lady.
Over at Ashbourne memorial parkrun Andrew Watson had a gentle jog around the fields in 32.38 (122nd) place. The penultimate event at which MACS had representation today was Long Eaton with Chris Rouse having a steady run of 26.32 for 216th whilst Roy Austin sought to add to his V index by volunteering at this venue.
Finally, at our local Monsal Trail parkrun Captain Greg was 14th, 19.56, Ayako Yokoyama-Nichols, 44th & 3rd lady, 23.02. Megan followed then in 49th, 23.15 with Sarah Walton making up the quartet in 45.05, 199 position.
