John Thorpe reports:
Sunday morning saw 4 MACs cross the Border into Staffordshire to run Passing Clouds fell race which starts and finishes at Tittesworth Reservoir, built in 1858 and holding 1.4 billion gallons.
After a steady start it heads up and over Ramshaw rocks before returning back down The Roaches and a final climb over Hen cloud before descending back to the reservoir to finish, covering 9.6 miles and 1800ft elevation.
Having a cracking run and coming back 11th was Edward James, John Thorpe 24th, Mick Moorhouse yet again claimed 1st V70 in 38th and Ayako Yokoyama-Nichols in 67th, This race has to be one of the most scenic races around!!
