Peak Rail 7 – Runner vs Steam: Charity update

Following our successful, if slightly damp, race on Easter Monday, we are delighted to announce details of a number of charities that we will be making donations to. This is our annual charity event and all profit is donated to charities that are suggested and voted on by our team of volunteers that help the event to run smoothly.

We will be donating £700 each to:

• Peak District Mountain Rescue
• Ashgate Hospicecare
• Breast Cancer (via Crewenna’s fundraiser for Breast Cancer Now)

We will also be making a number of smaller donations to:

• Meadow View Care Home (£200)
• Ashbourne Animal Welfare (£200)
• Crossroads Derbyshire (£200)
• Derby Mountain Rescue (£200)
• Pet Samaritans Chesterfield (£200)
• 3rd Matlock Scouts (£150)
