Caroline Robertson reports:
Well done to all the MACs at the 3rd edition of the Youlgrave Pommie Panter this morning. A lovely day for a jaunt on the hills, fields, woods, lanes and marshes around the village.
The club was represented by 3 MAC ladies Gemma Southern, Becky Curtis Hall and Caroline Robertson. For the chaps Roy Austin, Rob Curtis, Martin Lea, Ian Pitkin, Chris Robson, Les Thurston, Ian Watson, Scott Gregory, and Oliver Brocklehurst. Hopefully I haven’t missed anyone

Well done to everyone for getting round the challenging course and surviving unscathed through several fields of land sharks, which thankfully had cow whispering marshals to keep them at bay

The spectacle of a 15 minute long motorcycle rally from ‘The Distinguished Gentleman’ in aid of men’s mental health awareness and prostate cancer (now makes sense as to why they were all dressed in dapper attire!) through the village delayed the prize giving outside The George pub. With the sun shining and drinks flowing no one minded! When it did get underway we were able to celebrate Gemma Cox as 2nd female (who had to go earlier) and Becky Curtis Hall who took home 3rd female and first vet 40.
