Saturday saw two MACs in Wales for ‘Race The Train’.
This features a variety of courses alongside the Talyllyn railway from Tywyn. Roads, fields, narrow tracks, mud and some stiff climbs make for a challenging outing.
Scott Thompson tackled the full 14 miles and finished in 2:06:20, 7th V50.
I’m nursing a gammy knee so stuck to the 10k race and avoided mishaps to do 1:13:19, 1st V70.
Nice to have family supporters at the finish and hopefully some photos to follow.
