Friday Evening saw a Dozen crazy Mac’s head over to Fairholmes to the Howdens dam to run the Salt Cellar Fell Race, Roughly 6.8 miles and over 1500ft elevation.
The Race starts at the foot of the Dam wall before along climb for about 3.7 miles before reaching the famous Salt Cellar Rock formation 🪨 after this you’d think the descent would be easy but No!! a couple of miles of Bracken bashing which was head high and gnarly underfoot conditions made for Afew falls.
