On Wednesday evening the Three Macateers headed over to the Goyt Valley to Errwood Reservoir to run Shining Tor Fell Race which is 6.5 miles and just over 1000ft of climb, Taking you from the Errwood reservoir past the ruins of Errwood Hall, up to the summit of Shining Tor and along the ridge to Pym’s chair, giving you fantastic views of the Cheshire plain and onto Cats Tor before a nice downhill section before a 400m section over the Dam wall to the finish.
Luke Beresford was first back in 7th and 1st V40, John Thorpe was 30th and Ed James 163rd after not feeling to great. 220 runners enjoyed a great Sunny evening out!
