The Boston (UK) Marathon took place on 12th April. With 1050 finishers it’s one of the smaller UK road marathons. The course winds its way NE along country roads through the Flatlands of the Lincolnshire Fens, it’s pan flat.
MAC were represented by Lisa Walton and Ian Pitkin. After a difficult week leading up to the marathon, Lisa ran a great race to record a personal best of 4:42:28. Ian also ran a strong race resulting in a pb of 3:31:36, although was unable to prevent being beaten by a man juggling three balls!
