The Hive Hustle – Bumblebee Run
On Good Friday, the Hive Hustle – Bumblebee Run took place at Stockport Harriers running track, an event organised by Phoenix Running, Manchester.
This consisted of two 6 hour, or one 12 hour timed events where participants could attempt to run as many laps of the 400-metre running track as possible. For MAC, Dan Ashcroft realised that he was slightly less insane than a few other runners when he completed his second track marathon in 6 months. The winner completed 49.2 miles!
The medal is probably the most ridiculous one received to date, with a 5 inch diameter, weighing 287g, and with a spinning bee in the middle.
