Two Turtle Doves

On boxing day Three French Hens from Matlock headed over to Totley to burn off a few Christmas calories at Totley ACs Two Turtle Doves Fell Race.

Under beautiful blue skies and perfect running conditions the route takes you from the cricket club and into Totley woods, on to the Moors and finishes with a quick descent back to the start.

Dan Haworth was winner, winner Turkey Dinner. And Bob Foreman was also treated to a belated Christmas Present taking home the mens V60 prize. I trudged round with some Christmas wrapping on my creaky knee but we were all treated to a well deserved mince pie before heading home for another round of turkey sandwiches and leftover pigs in blankets.
