13 Macs descended on Wirksworth for the Incline race, organised by our friends at Wirksworth Running Club.

4.1 miles long and climbing 620ft elevation starting and finishing in the industrial estate then onto the trail to climb the Incline before heading across the pastures to the Trig point before descending back to the finish.
Storming around and setting a New Course record was Harry Holmes in 24 minutes dead, Simon Fisher 6th, Richard Bradbury 12th, Ewen Ross 22nd, John Thorpe 24th, Scott Thompson 37th, Gavin Elliott 60th, Kate Ruffell was missing from the results 73rd ish, David Howarth 83rd, Jan Forrester 96th and 1st V70, Andrew Watson 99th, Sally Owen 100th and Les Thurston 105th, A great morning for a fantastic Local race!
There also was a junior race which Logan Fairey won – and Heath Fairey also weighed down with a trophy for being first boy back in the 800m race.
