The club chair has recently taken over custody of the club’s archive and historic records, which have for several years been held by the club historian and archivist Jan Forrester.
Jan recently left MAC to join our friends at Belper Harriers. Our loss is very much their gain!
Jan was a long-standing MAC member competing successfully both locally and worldwide.
In addition to her archivist role, Jan was a long-serving committee member and the club press officer for several years. Jan’s sterling work included a feature article on MAC in the Fell Runner magazine, for which she received the Chairman’s Award in appreciation of her tireless efforts for many years publicising the activities and achievements of the club.
We thank Jan for all her service to MAC and wish her all the best competing for Belper Harriers.
