Dennis Holmes reports
This weeks parkrun report is short and sweet. Only 13 runners and 1 volunteer detected so far. Alvaston was very popular after Lisa Walton diverted from Hillsborough?? with Roy and Chris having steady runs on this pancake flat course by the look of it.
Over at Ashbourne Simon was taking it more seriously on what I guess was quite a muddy course? coming in First Finisher in 20.39 whilst Louise was also First lady Finisher in 24.59.
Monsal Trail was the most populous MAC venue as expected with Greg leading them in in 6th place and 20.20, followed shortly by Jacob Jones in 21.11 and 11th place. Nicky Dick recorded the only MAC over 70% age grading of the day by running 24.38 for 43rd place. Two further members of the Jones clan, Emily and Lisa completed the MAC posse finishing in 29.23 & 29.24 for 113th & 114th places. Thanks to Andy Mellor for a sterling job of Bar Code scanning today.
Moving on to the billy no mates awards, Dennis Holmes was solo MAC at Market Bosworth today where he grabbed the 47 for his Wilson Index. Sarah Walton stayed closer to home at Poolsbrook running 30.32 for 95th place and finally Gav Elliott was at Preston Park wherever that is where he ran 23.47 for 69th.
