Congratulations to Greg Hopkinson for winning the Hathersage Night Fell Race last night, he came back in 34:53 for the 5 Mile/8km’ish course up and over Stanage Edge, impressively over a minute and half faster than second place.
I held the masses back to give him more chance (think he was down before I was up 😂) getting back in 53:02 and 71st place and Mick Fowler back in 99th
I thought it was a great event, a bit misty up the top, but the weather was kind having dumped most over its water over the course in the last few weeks. One to put on your list though as the event was full with over 150 runners on a midweek evening.
