Ilkeston BDL XC Race
With Bolsover 10K being cancelled due to the icy conditions the Ilkeston BDL XC suddenly became the premier running event in Derbyshire this Sunday.
18 hardy MACs wrapped up warm to tackle 4.8 miles of the finest landscapes Ilkeston has to offer. It was great to see such a big turnout, especially on the build up to Christmas. The full results are given below, but a particular shout out to Hayley Gill who stormed round to take 1st lady. Full results are below.
The next race in the BDL series is on Sunday the 15th January at Bramcote Park near Beeston, Nottingham. But before then we have the Derbyshire XC Champs on Saturday 7th January at Markeaton Park, full details in Lottie’s post.
