Sunday saw Half a Dozen Macs head over to Glossop to run Doctors Gate Fell race which is a 12.7 miles and climbs over 3500 ft of ascent. The route takes you along the old packhorse route out of Old Glossop to where it meets the Pennine Way, before heading to Higher Shelf Stones, then on to Lower Shelf Stones. After returning to Doctors Gate, the route then climbs James Thorn, via Shelf Benches, before returning to Old Glossop via Dog Rock, Torside Clough and Cock Hill.
Harry Holmes led from Start to Finish to claim the Victory, next back was Simon Hoggart in 25th, Bob Foreman in the form of his life was 53rd and 1st V60, John Thorpe was 65th and Jack Cummins having a great run in 85th, for the Ladies Ayako Yokoyama-Nichols having a storming run was 113th and 1st V50,
