18 MACS set a new record of completing 12 different parkruns across 6 different counties of England and Wales today!
In alphabetical order of parkrun our athletes were; at Alvaston Lisa Walton in 123rd place with an impressive 28.31 whilst over at Ashbourne Simon Fisher took 1st place in 21.06.
Another first finisher over the border at Clumber park Nottinghamshire was Luke Beresford with a very impressive 17.13. Also in Nottinghamshire at Gedling Sarah Witham completed the hilly course in 22.58 for 13th and 1st lady whilst Rob Scriven was not far behind in 15th place, 23.21.
In Yorkshire, Roy Austin was Nelson hunting again, bagging the 444 at Hillsborough in 26.28 for 183rd place out of the massive 627 runners.
Back in Derbyshire, at the Monsal trail, Nick Gant led the MAC trio home in 4th place, 19.54, followed by Steve Goodall in 27th, 22.28 and only 7 seconds behind in 29th place Dave Curtis.
Over at Poolsbrook Gary Jones had a great run finishing 10th in 21.44 whilst Sarah Walton easing back after injury completed in 34.49 for 167th place.
Over the border in Denbighshire Dennis Holmes finally claims the tourism award, in 24.25 and 28th place.
Back in Notts at Sherwood Pines, Greg and Meg strolled around in 21.42 and 22.14, 11th & 24th places.
The penultimate parkrun of Shipley Country park saw Christine Howard finish in 23.50 for 13th overall and 3rd lady whilst Gav Elliott finished 3 places back in 23.55.
Finally at the Warwick racecourse parkrun, Jay Bird completed the course in more of a trot than a canter, finishing in 25.07 for 114th place. I hope that I have not missed anyone and the above is accurate.
