Round Sheffield Run Winter 🥶
Sunday saw the 3rd edition of the Round Sheffield Run Winter. The same course as the popular summer event but with the added challenge of the freezing temperatures and thanks to the persistent rain in recent weeks, plenty of mud.
11 timed stages of 20km plus untimed recovery zones in between totalling around 24km from gun to tape.
MAC had a handful of intrepid participants braving the north’s finest mud and hills to blow away the Christmas cobwebs.
Flying the MAC flag in the individual category were:

Naomi Aburn – 132nd F in 2.14.56
Ellie Salomoni – 38th FV50 in 2.09.59

Denney Lau and John Boardman – 105th M pair in 2.20.31
Cherry Moger and Luke Beresford – 18th Mixed pair in 1.43.34
Caroline and David Robertson 57th Mixed pair in 2.01.39
Great running from everyone on a very chilly morning! Extra kudos to David and Luke who both ran cross country at Nottingham the day before 💪
